no sunday scaries || outfit roundup

happy weekend!

as i’m writing this, i’m on the back end of a really good weekend with the fam. #nsale with logan and my mom [technically logan’s third annual!], visiting friends, and now a slow sunday afternoon. life is good. on that note, i have noticed that the combination of a job i truly love + being really intentional about self care [as best i can] have really eliminated those sunday scaries for me. i look forward to going back to work. sometimes i joke that work is like a ‘break’ for me [running after a toddler is not easy – daycare providers and stay at home moms have my UTMOST respect and admiration], but it’s more of a change of pace that i crave. same reason that come friday, i look forward to devoting a significant amount of time to my family. having that “balance” [btw, no such thing] helps me be a better mom, better wife, and better human all the way around. i have found what works for me, in this season of my life, and i’m fully embracing it, and therefore no sunday scaries. i used to get FILLED with anxiety for the week ahead come sunday, and i’ve come to find that – even though i really enjoyed my jobs at the time – it’s because i wasn’t practicing self care. getting some ‘me-time’ on sundays helps me set my tone for the week. i have a mini-dose of this when i walk in the morning, so i break that self-care down to start my day on the right foot, as well. but i digress … just care for yourself, ok?

i’ve rounded up my outfits from the last week! links are included. i’ve actually had a few people reach out with questions on how to style something/what type of outfits to wear to certain events, and i was 1. humbled that you sought my opinion and 2. so excited to help! dm me, email me, carrier pigeon, doesn’t matter, i love it! also, totally acknowledging the messy mirror and messy room in all the pics. i clearly prioritized spending time with logan over cleaning … it’s on my to-do list 😉

have a great week!
