happy thursday, friends! you guys loved my rug in the post yesterday – i’m working on linking that for you! [i actually got served an ad for it, and bought it impulsively. how’s that for truly digital for ya?!] i’m back today with all of the good things i’ve found at target, this time focusing on a few new items i’m coveting for my new desk space here at work, some indoor [fake] plants for my bathroom, and SHOES. target, your shoes are too good. and i have to say, for the price, the quality is outstanding. i have been wearing some of my fave target shoes all summer long, and minimal wear and tear on them. considering i try to get in 10k+ steps per day, i’d say that’s impressive quality!
i also wanted to share a #lifehack i found, because i feel like it is so profound, i don’t want to wait until i do my next roundup. and ladies, this one is specifically for YOU: shave your pits in a “X” shape. yep, an “X”. apparently it has something to do with getting all the hairs that grow in different directions, but i’ve adopted this and i can attest to it not only working, but to it cutting down on irritation. since we are deep in the throes of tank top season, this one seems too good not to share ASAP. read more about it here. i sincerely hope this adds as much value to your life as it has mine, gals, because it’s a game-changer.
oh! one more thing – as i have been bingeing the rachel hollis dais podcasts, and i found one that really spoke to me [no pun intended]. rachel’s interview with toi sweeney about the psychology of how you dress is making fashion a science, and it is so intriguing. it’s the reasons i get excited to get dressed in the morning, and how the perfect pair of jeans makes me walk a little taller. i’m going to do a whole post on this, but if you haven’t heard the podcast, check it out!
alright alright alright [matthew mcconaughey voice], here’s this week’s latest and greatest from everyone’s fave red, white, and round retailer:
can you tell i have a thing for shoes? or as logan would say “oooohh! shoes!!” [love that kid.]
