hi friends! since the beginning of this blog journey a couple of months ago, there have been a few new faces around here. today i wanted to stop in and just give you a quick rundown of who i am, what i blog about, and, probably most importantly, how you can shop the stuff i wear + recommend. because let’s be honest, sometimes you just want to figure out where girl got her shoes. here’s a little more about me:
who am i? great question. without getting too philosophical with you, i’m a mom-llennial. i am a mom, wife, career lady, friend, wellness-dabbler [hoping one day i can graduate to wellness enthusiast], lover of all things target, small town living/big city working twenty [almost thirty] something. i hail from the great state of minnesota and love the colder months. bring on the boots and scarves, people! my goal for this blog is two-fold: one, to exercise the creative side of my brain since my career is more numbers focused on a daily basis. two, to bring some value into reader’s lives, however that shows up [recommendations, tips, or just posting about something that they might be experiencing too]. if you want to know more about kelsey the person, check out more about me here.

you have a day job? yep! for me, blogging is not my career; rather, the cliche ‘creative outlet’ that we all talk about. it really is just that.
so when can we expect you to post? right now i’m posting M-F [sign up for email alerts and get notified when i have a new post!].
fave places to shop? target [shocking, i know], nordstrom, evereve, marshalls, saks, nordstrom rack, old navy, gap, express, smaller [usually online!] boutiques. i’m pretty open and will shop almost anywhere — i just love the process of putting together an outfit and more importantly, how i feel in an outfit that makes me feel like a million bucks.
you have a kid! gender, how old, name? my sweet, sassy, and all things good in the world daughter logan is a year and a half old. she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to our family and i am so lucky to be her mom. i mean, man… what a privilege! that being said, i do have my fair share of quandaries + complaints about how “the system” seems to work against parents in today’s society. i do try to take it all in stride, because raising a child is the toughest, yet most important, job in the world.
who takes your pics? when it’s not a shameless mirror-selfie or the selfie-stick i rig up to take the pic in my yard [i don’t force my instagram[less] husband unless i HAVE to], maria takes my photos. if you are local [or even if you aren’t!] hit her up. she’s talented, beautiful, super time-efficient, and captures everything good you didn’t even realize was in the shot. for real, i can’t say enough good things about her.

how do we find out what you are wearing? great question. odds are at least something i’m wearing is from target. you can follow me on liketoknow.it or shopstyle. i make an effort to link similar pieces if ones i have are sold out or i can’t find them, so not everything is a 1:1 match, but sometimes i find even better pieces! [and then proceed to order them, much to my husband’s dismay]
