recent j.crew factory finds

hello hello! i feel like with the changing weather, i’ve been bitten by the shopping bug and wanted to pick up a few things to add to my fall wardrobe. i usually check j.crew factory once a week or so to see what is new, but i ended up wandering into a store one slow sunday, and boy was i impressed. i used to have to pick through most of their items because the styles/qualities weren’t up to par with your og j.crew, but this time i was happily surprised to find that everything was cute, and everything passed the fit and quality tests. here’s a glimpse into what i picked up:

can you tell i was really feeling the stripes? i feel like a striped dress is a classic staple, and these options here are a fun twist on a classic piece. the same goes for the striped button down – it’s tie-front gives it a little extra detail. i also CANNOT RESIST a cape coat, so you know this one made it’s way into my shopping bag. plus, everything is 35% off right now, so how can you say no to that?! the relaxed sweater blazer is one of the most versatile pieces i own [i have older versions in blue and a lighter grey] and area always my go-to when i’m no sure how dressy a meeting/event is and want to be polished, but not too professional. i have the cinched waist skirt in another color, and had to pick up this one since it’s khaki but not like “i work at target khaki’ [except for, i do, but you get the point]. jumpsuit, that’s an obvious one. jumpsuits are the PERFECT statement piece and are so easy to wear and pair. i guarantee the minute you put on a jumpsuit, you’ll be getting compliments left, right, and center. well worth the awkwardness of being basically naked while using the restroom.

i’ll be gone at the end of this week for my baby bro’s wedding [YAY!!!], but you can bet that when i’m back in minnesota i’ll be hitting up some of my fave stores for some more fall favorites and ready to share them all here. in the meantime, i’ll keep you up to date on what i’m ordering online and trying to hide from my husband.

have a great rest of your day, and thanks for taking the time to stop by!
