happy friday! i know, i know, two shopping posts back-to-back, but i wanted to share some of the pieces from the nordstrom half yearly sale before it’s over.
this dress comes in a few different patterns, and is actually longer than i thought! i sometime worry with the fit + flare style that it’s going to be too short, but it passes the hand test without being frumpy. bonus: the buttons are real so nursing will be a breeze! the color i’m wearing is sold out online, but there are a couple other colors available here [for a few dollars less, too!]
this something navy tank is amazing — the ruching is so flattering and it’s the perfect weight for summer OR layering with a blazer/sweater/jacket in the winter. i picked up the grey and went back to order the yellow + black. those are the kinds of tops i like to wear with nice jeans to work or with some cute distressed denim on the weekends. they are SUPER versatile, and under twenty bucks!
another something navy top for the win! i love a good black top with an interesting detail, and these shoulders make a basic top super fun. i’m ordering the blue, too. it’s not quiiiite full length, but definitely not cropped either. perfect for a full or front-tuck.
can you tell i love the something navy line? this blazer is gorg, and i’m super excited to wear it when i head back to work. v easy to dress up or down, it would be super cute belted over a midi dress or with a plain white v-neck tee.

ok, last but not least, the activewear. i can’t find this exact tank online, but the sale has a TON of good activewear pieces. i ordered a pair of zella leggings and have a whole shopping cart of other pieces that i’ll probably pull the trigger on during another 3am feeding session. seriously, any other mamas out there do that? i swear it’s always a game of “check my emails in the morning to see what i ordered in a sleep-deprived nursing state.” 🙂
here are some of my activewear picks:
have a great weekend! we don’t have a ton planned, other than the fishing tournament my husband organized benefitting his wrestling team. fun fact: this fishing tournament started a decade ago as a fun activity for all of our friends to do, and now it’s a yearly fundraiser for the team he coaches. pretty neat to see how far it’s come!
