hi friends! we made it. it’s friday. well, yesterday was my friday because i have today off, but you get it. anyways, i wanted to share some of my favorite things i’ve been using/wearing/seeing/doing lately, since i know i get most of my recommendations from others, both IRL and on the web!
i’m obsessed with this stuff. i talked about it here, but i’ve been using it every day, multiple times a day. i mostly use it as a lip balm, but i used the rose tinted one as a cheek balm last weekend when i needed just a leeeetle color before heading out to a pool party. you can bet it’ll be with me as i head to a bachelorette party this weekend. also, the birthday balm tastes just like the lip smackers we all used to have back in the day. you are welcome.
i’ve been super conscious of trying to keep my milk supply up, especially since going back to work. i started taking these supplements towards the end of my maternity leave, and i’m on my third bottle. i definitely see a difference when i run out, so i’m thinking about trying more of the line to see if a different one works even better for me. they came recommended from a friend, so i love finding a product that works not only for me, but has worked for others, too!
i just listened to the skimm episode where they interview valerie jarrett, aaaand now valerie’s book is next on my list of things to read listen to in the car.
i made this recipe for dinner the other night and OH MY GOODNESS. so good. i mean, if you like cheese. so everyone. and you can’t even tell it’s decently healthy (i feel like the cauliflower balances out the heavy cream and four kinds of cheese i used), so i felt fine eating an entire family’s worth myself.
and last but not least, j.crew has sale on sale, my favorite kind of sale. and since i can’t shop for myself for another week, i’ll be sharing all of my favorite picks with you next week, including all the fall finds, so i can get my fix of cute j.crew newness and still stick to my ‘no shop august.’ i guess i’m shopping vicariously through all of you? 🙂
