tarzhay thursday :: target try-on

back today with more target style goodness. i did another try on when i was in the store this weekend, and i found a ton of things i loved and some i wasn’t so crazy about. i’ll spare you all of the ones i wasn’t that jazzed about and only share what i think you guys would find interesting. here we go!

sherpa is here, and it’s here to stay. big fan of this universal thread sherpa pullover, especially with the fun balloon sleeve detail (it’s hard to tell here, but it adds an interesting element to the top). i sized down because it’s already pretty large to begin with and i didn’t want it to overpower my short frame.

i was honestly expecting to hate the bottoms, but they fit SO well. they’re literally the perfect ‘cool mom’ pant that you can dress up with heels or dress down with some sneaks and, say, a sherpa pullover 😉 i am in between sizes in bottoms, and these fit more like girlfriend denim, so i was able to size down.

i went in and on a whim decided to try on a few dresses since we have a few winter weddings this year, and really liked two of them! first was this velvet shirred waist dress from wild fable. i would pair it with some fun patterned tights and cute block heels. if you want to go full-on trendy, pair with tights and some open-toed sandals (v. in right now, but not sure if i’m ready to commit to that trend quite yet!)

the second one that i tried and really liked was this long sleeved satin burgundy number. i love a good skater skirt, and this one isn’t too flouncy but definitely isn’t clingy.

i mean, a camo sweatshirt … you can’t go wrong! actually this one is a great layering piece since it’s a little thinner and would be easy to tuck into pants or a skirt.

i ended up trying on a whole bunch of who what wear new items as well, but they aren’t available online yet. look for those next week!
