happy thursday! today i wanted to share the best self-tanners that i can get at my local target. you guys know that i love a nice, golden glow [i’ve talked about it up and down on this blog] and i’m thrilled that i can get my favorite ones at target. so accessible!
the best gradual self-tanner
this is my favorite self-tanner that i use almost every day. you can read more about how i apply it here, but the gist is that i spray it on [face included!] after i shower and immediately apply lotion to smooth things out.
PROS: this tanner is streak-free, smell-free, and inexpensive [under ten bucks!]. it also lasts for ever
CONS: it isn’t immediate. it’s a gradual tanner, so you need to use it for a while to see results
the best quick results
i love these tan drops for when i’m starting to look a little bit like i’ve been living in my cloffice and haven’t seen the light of day. i use them about 1-2 times a week. i’ll put a couple of drops in my hand right after i shower while my skin is still damp, do my legs, arms, and face and then apply lotion. i’ve also mixed it in with my lotion, but i find it gets streakeir.
PROS: i see results overnight
CONS: it can possibly get streaky if you aren’t careful. i always make sure to wash my hands right after.
the best mousse
from a texture perspective, i really like this mousse. i find it spreads a bit easier and i’m able to make a little bit go a really long way. pros and cons are basically the same the one above!
PROS: i see results overnight and it spreads evenly
CONS: it can possibly get streaky if you aren’t careful. i always make sure to wash my hands right after
oh, target’s running a spend $20, get a $5 gift card deal on all beauty items right now. you can get them all! 🙂
