i don’t share a ton of beauty on here, mostly because i’m not one to try all kinds of different products. style and wellness are more my thing, and there are a TON of bloggers that do beauty better. that being said, i have been using a few products as of late that i wanted to share (or re-share) with you since i think they are pretty legit.
this tanning spray [my OG favorite]
you’ve heard me rave about it all over the place and in multiple posts, but i just re-stocked my favorite spray tanning product. i wrote a full on post on how to apply it for a natural, gradual tan here.
this cleansing balm
my face cleansing routine is pretty low-maintenance: use this facewash in the shower at night [then apply serums/moisturizer post shower + tanning spray] and rinse my face in the am. i talked about trying this new brand, specifically the cleansing balm, here, and am happy to report that it is AMAZING. i use it to remove my makeup before i hit the shower, and it’s soft on my skin but still cleans my waterproof mascara off effectively. this is definitely one i’ll be repurchasing.

apparently i’m on a balm kick … anyways, i’m totally a sucker for a founder with a great story paired with kick-ass marketing and branding, so here i sit the proud owner of some of glossier’s balm dotcom products. i mean, not only is emily weiss a total #girlboss, but she’s created a company that has singlehandedly change how we view beauty — products created for the people that use them, and not the other way around. i have three of the balms and they are stashed away in my purse, work bag, and with my makeup so that i can add a little oomph wherever i’m going. it’s lightweight but gives you that nice pop of color (or shine) when you need it. i typically use it on my lips, but i’ve used the birthday balm dotcom as a highlighter in a pinch as well. plus, the packaging was A-DORABLE. sold!
this eye palette [i’ve been using for YEARS]
typically i’m late to the beauty party, but i’ve been using a naked palette since, like, ’09, and there’s a reason they’re still around (ok, don’t quote me on the year, but it’s been forever). i used to get the “basics” half-palette, which worked, but i’ve actually found that i love the rose gold “naked one for my every day look. another runner up? the thrive causemetics palette my mom gifted me. i’m almost out and will likely be re-ordering another one of those, too!
like i said, i’m usually not a huge beauty buff because i’ve been using a lot of the same product for YEARS (as illustrated above), but i am always on the lookout for a product that someone swears by, so i figured i’d share some of my ‘swear by’s with you today. any products you absolutely can’t live with out? let a girl know! drop a comment below or on my latest instagram.
