happy thursday! i am 100% that person that the minute the calendar turns to november, i want to decorate for christmas. my husband begs me to wait, and usually i do [i force him to get a tree on black friday], but i’m not sure i can this year. partially because the only “nesting” i’m feeling with this kid is to get my christmas shopping done, and partially because i just love christmas. it makes sense, then, that i have rounded up all of the beautiful hearth & hand pieces that have hit target + target.com lately. few things make my heart happier than when i walk into target and see the christmas floorset going up. bring it on!
what about you? do you get into the christmas spirit, or are you totally one of those ‘whoa girl, slow your roll’ people? i love you guys, too, and can appreciate your love of thanksgiving [s/o to your fave holiday, kj!], but i just love christmas. not because of gifts, but because people are generally just happier. i find that it’s not even the holiday i love so much; it’s the togetherness, the concerted effort to spend time with family and friends. i’m so excited to have a little one that can partake in the festivities this year. i’ll refrain from my countdown right now, but don’t think i won’t have one started soon.
