hi friends! today’s post is dedicated to what i’ve been eating for lunch lately. sound boring? it kind of is, but if you’re anything like me, you love to creep on other people’s lives, including what they eat for lunch. i usually try to eat pretty healthy, and now that i’m pregnant, i treat it like a pseudo-experiment to see how i can really optimize my day to support my health and the health of #babypunch2.0. that being said, i fell asleep eating a blizzard last night. gotta live a little, right?
anyways, here are some of my lunches lately. i’ve been prioritizing eating breakfast since getting pregnant, something i just never really made time for [i accidentally have been intermittent fasting since high school, i guess], so i’m usually not STARVING by the time lunch rolls around. this means i’ve been making pretty good choices. it also means that i’ve already gotten some protein, so i feel better about having a plant-based lunch, as you’ll come to see. some of what i’m eating is from one of the amazing restaurants downtown, but i’ve also been trying to be more creative with my home cooked + packed meals. one thing i’m LOVING is the ready-make veggie bowls i get in the produce section. this one is my tried and true fave, and this one is my newest obsession. fyi, this is not sponsored by mann’s, i just really like the taste + convenience. here are some of my other favorites, too.

there you have it! these have been some of my favorite lunches to date. i’m dying to recreate some of the protein plates, but need to find the right sauces i want with them first. in the meantime, i’ll keep frequenting so good, so you.
