happy friday my friends! we have made it. i feel like i say that every friday, but in this case, i mean “i made it another week and didn’t have my water break at work.” also really hoping i didn’t jinx myself there.
some of my fave blog posts to read are ones where bloggers round up some of the best things they’ve read, seen, heard, bought, and realized during the week. so that’s exactly what i’m here to do today. first thing’s first, though.
you may notice [or not notice, due to a lack of], i don’t do a ton of sponsored posts. that is purely intentional on my part, since free product doesn’t necessarily always outweigh the time i have to give up trying it out, crafting content, and working with brands directly. what that means is: 1. i blog because i enjoy writing and want to add value so 2. when i do work with a brand/company/product, it has to be something i truly use or believe in. [no, target doesn’t sponsor me and i am still waiting to hear back from dairy queen. el oh el]
anyways, one partnership i did take on is with loch jewelers – a local, family owned and operated [like, literally. everyone there is fam or has become fam from working there for so long!] jeweler. i have more details to share next week, but let’s just say there’s going to be an exciting giveaway coming. woo!

i don’t pre-order books, but when i do, it’s because kelly leveque wrote them. i’m on the list for her second book, and SO looking forward to it. also, look at how amazing these buffalo chicken lettuce cups she made look.
just picked up this robe and these pants from target to toss in my hospital bag. i think i’m having ptsd from the last time around when ALL i wore was my husbands holey college sweatpants. granted, i still wear them now, but it’s nice to know i have some cute, comfy lounge wear on reserve.
one of my fave bloggers, katey, posted about this mom-pack. and now i need said mom-pack. so i ordered said mom-pack.
