happy monday my friends! back today with another version of #influenced, where i bring you what i’ve purchased, read, listened to, watched, or worn because someone in my life has brought it to my attention. today’s #influenced edition is all about health and wellness products/companies/resources i’ve found lately. enjoy!
#influenced by: kelly leveque
you guys know i’ve been reading kelly leveque’s newest book, body love everyday. in there she has practical tips and tricks for implimenting a fab 4 lifestyle (not just the smoothies). one of the best things i’ve picked up from there [so far – i’m only partway through!] is how to pick a protein bar. she gives some guidelines [protein should be higher than carbs, decent fat content, etc.]. she also gives some suggestions and thanks to her i’ve been keeping both the perfect keto bars and primal kitchen bars. it’s been a while since i had the primal kitchen bars, and they have improved a TON. they now have the consistency of perfect bars, but with a little bit better nutritional value.
#influenced by: kelly leveque [again]
so this is getting a little personal, but i struggle with my armpits being super sensitive. they break out all the time, and i’m ALWAYS searching for a clean deodorant that won’t make them irritated. i’ve tried them all – native, schmitts, etc. while clean, they all still made my pits irritated. i saw on kelly’s stories that she was recommending a new brand, hume. so far, so good! it goes on very light, but i feel like it has ‘staying power,’ if you know what i mean. it’s not cheap, but anything i’m putting on my body and expecting to last all day is something worth spending a little bit more money on.
#influenced by: my forever love of the hills
i always kind of knew that lo bosworth was in the health and wellness space, but recently i have heard her on numerous podcasts and ended up binging some of her own podcast: i love wellness. she’s a great interviewer and manages to tease out some pretty interesting and science-y content in a lighthearted and relatable manner. consider me subscribed.
#influenced by: my SIL
SPEAKING OF lo bosworth and love wellness, my SIL managed she had tried her products. i’m always down to try what my SIL recommends, so i went out and found myself some bye bye bloat. it’s still too soon to tell if they actually work, but i was sold on the branding [and the instagram ads].
happy monday!
