july intentions

it’s july already — WHAT! i feel like april and may DRAGGED on and june just flew by. maybe it’s because we are in a little bit of a groove here at home, maybe it’s because i’m choosing to have a positive outlook, or maybe it’s because i’m finding a lot of joy in creating the pieces i am putting on shopgolden30.com, but i’m finding more moments of joy recently than i have in a long time. today i want to share my july intentions in the hopes that i can continue this.

(restart) my morning pages

i totally dropped off of doing this now that i’ve been sleeping in a little later in the mornings. i want to get back to doing morning pages and see if i notice a difference in how clearheaded i am going into the workday. read more about my experience with them here and here.

fill my evenings

we had a week there where we had somewhere to go // someone to see nearly every night. (note: these were all people that were part of our #quaranteam or we were socially distant from). i found that the week was so much more .. fun. normally when i’m working in the office, i love having the evenings to just chill. since i’m not getting those commute hours in, i find i go incredibly stir-crazy being at home ALL DAY and love having something to look forward to in the evening. socially distant dinners, beach nights, trips to the park — it all seems so much more fun during social distancing

launch the vintage line

OK i’m so excited about this, so sneak peek right here! i’ve been working on a vintage sports collection line, starting out with our very own minnesota teams. i’m always on the hunt for something cool and unique; the pieces that make people stop and go “where did you get that?!” i can promise each piece is sustainably sourced (i.e. vintage), and what’s there is there. SO EXCITED about this one!
